The Rochester Community and Technical College Men's Basketball team has traditionally been one of the top teams in the entire state of Minnesota. Coach Brian LaPlante's teams have been 229-106 the last 11 years ('99-'10). The 2000 team was MCCC State Tournament runner-up, the 2001 team was 3rd in the MCCC State Tournament and was 3rd in the 2001 Region 13 Tournament, and the 2002 team was Co-Champions of the Southern Division and finished 5th in the State MCCC Tournament. The 2003 Yellowjackets finished 19-8 and placed 4th in the MCCC State Tournament. .The 2010 team was State and Region Champs and NJCAA National Runner-UP. The 2007 Team finished 21-7 and were MCCC Southern Division Champions. The 2009 team finished 21-9 and 2nd in the MCAC tournament. The Yellowjackets have sent numerous players on to play at the next level ( please look at Where are they now?) and will continue to do so. Our brand new $15 million dollar facility is among the finest in the nation and will allow our student-athletes to play in state of the art facilities.

2007: 21-7-MCCC Southern Division Champions

2006: 23-11-NJCAA 5th place - Region 13 Champions

2005-16-11, Southern Division Runners-up MCCC Participant

2004-15-11, MCCC Participant

2003 19-8, MCCC 4th Place Finish
