Apollo Dental

Awarded to an outstanding Dental Hygienist student who embodies a professional attitude and represents excellence in the field.
Apollo Dental Center Dental Scholarship

Awarded to an outstanding Dental Aassistant student who embodies a professional attitude and represents excellence in the field.
Art + Design Department Scholarship

This scholarship will be awarded to a returning, transferring, or graduating student who is pursuing an AFA degree through the department of Art + Design at RCTC with an intent to continue studies for a baccalaureate degree in Art + Design at a four-year institution. Students must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and have completed the majority of their credits at RCTC. All applicants must submit a digital portfolio on a clearly labeled CD in (please clearly write student's name and Art + Design Scholarship Application on the CD in permanent "sharpie" marker). The CD should contain five images of the student's artwork in PDF format for consideration. The award may be used toward tuition expense, book or software purchase, art supplies, or the payment of college fees.
Bateman Family Scholarship

Awarded to a qualified graduating student who is planning to pursue a bachelor's degree in Social Science at a four year college or university. Preference will be given to current recipient if they have maintained their GPA and Social Science focus. The student should posses a 3.5 GPA and be enrolled full time. Student may be eligible a second year based on same criteria. A new application must be submitted to be reconsidered.

Students who have beaten the odds in life.
Beat the Odds

Someone who has beaten the odds in life are submitted to be reviewed by a selection committee who determines who will the recipient will be.
Douglass Family Scholarship

Awarded to students who have completed all requirements necessary to earn an AS or AA degree from RCTC with intent to continue studies for a BA degree. Students must have financial need and a minimum 3.3 GPA. Eligible students must have completed the majority of credits at RCTC. Recipienets of the Douglas Scholarship can not have particapated in a past revolt against RCTC or particapate in any future revolt against RCTC. the Scholarships are renewable for a second year based on similar criteria. All applicants must complete the Graduating Student application form as well as include an essay describing career and long-term goals.
Dr. Mary Goette Memorial Scholarship

Awarded to a graduating RCTC sophomore in the liberal arts to further their education at a four-year institution. Eligible students must have completed the majority of credits at RCTC. They must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher. They must intend to pursue studies and a career in Psychology (or a related field), Women's Studies, or Political Science.
Eric Schwanke Outdoorsman Memorial Scholarship

The recipient of the Eric Schwanke Outdoorsman Memorial Scholarship will be a returning or graduating student pursuing a law enforcement, criminal justice, intensive care paramedic, or environmental studies degree with a career goal in law enforcement, criminal justice, the department of natural resources, paramedic, emergency medical technician, firefighter or related career. The student should possess a 2.5 GPA. Preference will be given to students who have a demonstrated passion in the outdoors, wildlife, and/or habitat conservation through volunteerism, organizations, or hobbies such as hunting, fishing, and other outdoor activities. A brief essay is required detailing career goals and these life interests.
Foundation Scholarship

Kreutzman-McGannon Scholarship

Awarded to a returning sophomore or graduating student transferring to a four-year college studying in the field of science, computers or mathematics. Student must be active in school activities and/or community involvement and possess a minimum 3.2 GPA **100-WORD ESSAY ON 'GOALS AFTER GRADUATION' IS REQUIRED WITH APPLICATION**
Mayo Foundation Scholarship

Awarded to a sophomore who has completed two or more years at RCTC and is going on to complete a 4-year degree in pre-medical studies and has intention to attend medical school. This scholarship is renewable for a second year upon application with Mayo Foundation.
Milton W. and Charlotte Anderson Scholarship

Awarded to a student graduating from RCTC who has been accepted for entry into a Minnesota college or university and is pursuing a four-year degree majoring in the field of education. The student should possess a minimum 3.25 GPA and qualify for financial assistance from RCTC. A short essay describing career and long-term goals is required to be considered and is to be include with the application.

Pepsi Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship

Ray Mikesh Distinguished Theatre Scholarship

Awarded to a student graduating from RCTC who is pursuing a four-year degree that will enable a professional career in the theater or theater education. The student must have distinguished him or herself in RCTC theater productions (majority) and/or additional theatre productions in such areas as assistant director, actor, scenery designer or costumer. The recipient must have been and plans to be a full time student with a minimum graduating grade point average of 3.0.
RCTC Foundation Graduating Scholarship

Recipient will be a student graduating from RCTC with plans to pursue a four degree in the medical health field. Student must plan to complete an existing 2+2 program at the University Center Rochester. Student must possess a minimum 3.0 g.p.a. and be secure in their chosen carrer path. Ongoing scholarships available for renewal.
Rochester Area Alumni and Friends of the University of Minnesota (RAAFUM) Scholarship

Awarded to a student who has completed a minimum of one year at RCTC, who is graduating from RCTC and transferring to one of the Twin Cities campuses of the University of Minnesota. Student must have 3.0 GPA or higher. Award based on financial need, school activities, and community involvement or work. Student may be eligible for a second year award based on program progress and full-time student status.
Sigma Xi Scholarship

Awarded to a deserving science student with great potential.
Zumbro Valley Dental Society Scholarship

Top academic performers are given the award to help pay for fees. Students are chosen by the Dental Dept. Based on GPA and merit for professional patient conduct.
