| Calvary Episcopal Church and Community Service Scholarship The recipient of the Calvary Episcopal Church-Community Service Scholarship will be an incoming or returning student from any field of study who is completing his/her two years of studies at RCTC. The student should possess a 3.0 GPA. and exhibit financial need. The recipient will have demonstrated a commitment to community service projects with preference given to first or second generation family members. |

| Dover-Eyota Scholarship (Application available at Dover-Eyota H.S.) To be awarded to a Dover-Eyota High School senior who will be attending RCTC after graduation. |
| Dr. Joel Swisher Memorial Scholarship Awarded to an incoming student who has played football in high school, demonstrates good citizenship, has a good work ethic, and is a team player. |
| Eugene & Opal Weis Scholarship Awarded to incoming students pursuing a degree in the building trades. Must be graduates of Rochester public high schools who possess talent, aptitude and enthusiasm for the building trades. Attach letter of recommendation with application from high school teacher. |
| Florence A. Curtis Nursing Scholarship The recipient of the Florence A. Curtis Nursing Scholarship will be an incoming full-time student enrolled in a Nursing program at RCTC. Students must have a minimum 3.0 GPA. |
| Frank Jaszewski Scholarship (Application available at Fillmore-Central H.S.) Awarded to a Fillmore-Central graduating senior that has been active in athletics or other extra-curricular activities and will be attending RCTC. |
| Franklin H. Sim Scholarship Any student incoming or returning enrolled in the allied health medical field (i.e. sports medicine, physical therapy, athletic training, nursing) who has demonstrated a combination of academic prowess (3.5 GPA) as well as participation in athletics at RCTC either as a player or a volunteer to the athletic teams. |

| George J. Calvert Memorial Scholarship Recipient will be a student in good standing who intends to use their carpentry skill in the home building trades. |
| Goodhue RCTC Alumni Scholarship (Applications available at Goodhue H.S.) To be awarded to Goodhue High School senior who has participated in student life activities at Goodhue High School, plans to attend RCTC after graduation, and WILL CONTINUE to participate in Student Life Activities at RCTC. |
| Hafar Family Music Scholarship The recipients of the Hafar Family Music Scholarship will be incoming or returning students currently taking private (applied) lessons in music. Preference will be given to brass students who intend a career in music but any applied (major) student is eligible provided they have a 2.5 GPA. Students may be full or part-time status. |
| Hoffman Scholarship Awarded to an incoming student who plans to attend a four-year college or university following graduation from RCTC. Student should be pursuing a major in one of the 'hard sciences', such as math, science, engineering. Student must qualify for financial aid and possess a minimum 3.0 GPA. |
| Hoffman Technical Scholarship Awarded to an incoming student who is pursuing a two-year degree majoring in a technical or trade field. Student must possess passing grades and qualify for financial assistance. |
| Holmquist, Nolte, Reed Scholarship Awarded to an incoming or returning student from Stewartville school area majoring in education with plans to coach athletics. |
| Iris Fried Student Support Services Scholarship Awarded to an active participant in the Student Support Services/TRiO Program, who has a completed fall and spring ISP on file, enrolled in and attended at least 9 credits for fall semester 2008, and has a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5. An essay (500 word min.) is required. "Explain how Student Support Services has impacted your future life plans." |
| James & Priscilla Russell Nursing Scholarship Awarded to a non-traditional student accepted into the RCTC Nursing Program, or a second year non-traditional student already in the program. Academic potential for success is the first criteria with need an equally important factor. If the scholarship recipient successfully completes the first year, he or she is eligible to apply for the second year, however, the student with the greatest need will be awarded. This scholarship is to assist a student who desires to become a registered nurse but has limited financial resources such as supporting a family or working full-or part-time to support him or herself while enrolled in the RCTC Nursing Program. |
| Jimmy Joe McDermott Scholarship Awarded to incoming freshmen from southeastern Minnesota who participated in high school activities or athletics and plan to continue in student life activities at RCTC. Students must have a 2.5 GPA or better. |
| John, Adolph, and Pauline Peterson Horticulture Scholarship Awarded to Incoming or Returning Students with a minimum GPA of 2.0. Preference will be given to students coming from families who have worked in horticulture, agriculture, or related fields who are pursuing an A.A. S. degree planning a career in greenhouse management or a horticulture specialty. Recipient must have completed or commit to providing 10 hours of volunteer service each semester to a worthy organization such as Chester Woods Park, Seasons Hospice, the Salvation Army doing fall clean-up spring planting, etc. The student should be enrolled full-time with pro-ration of the scholarship for part-time students. |

| Kenneth Rohde Scholarship Awarded to an incoming or returning student active in the RCTC band and has financial need. The student may be attending full-time or part-time. The scholarship may be renewable if student continues at RCTC and is active in the band. |
| Kereakos Family Memorial Scholarship Awarded to an entering freshman who is an immigrant, spouse or child of an immigrant, or a first generation American citizen. Student must exhibit good academic standing. If the student achieves a 2.8 GPA or better, he/she will be eligible to receive the scholarship for a second year. |
| Les Fiegel - Rochester Downtown Kiwanis Scholarship Awarded to an incoming student. Award based on academics, volunteer and community involvement, leadership and financial need. |
| Lois Hackbarth Scholarship Awarded to a student with financial need, yet not qualified for financial aid. Single parent or person who is a community volunteer or victim advocate. Preference given to students entering community service oriented careers. |
| Meirick Scholarship Awarded to an Iowa student who will attend RCTC and who participated in high school wrestling. |
| Minnesota Society of Professional Engineers Scholarship Awarded to an incoming student enrolling in Engineering Technology or Pre-Engineering. |
| Molly Baum/Chatfield Scholarship (Application available at Chatfield H.S. ) To be awarded to a Chatfield High School senior who will be attending RCTC after graduation. |
| Neva and Rachel Kuehn Scholarship The recipient of the Neva and Rachel Kuehn Scholarship will be a deserving student enrolled in the Practical Nursing program who demonstrates need. The student should be enrolled full-time with pro-ration of the scholarship for part-time students. |
| Nick Kehoe Second Chance Memorial Scholarship (Applications available at Pine Island High School) Awarded to a Pine Island High School graduate who has earned at least one high school varsity athletic letter. Scholarship renewal possible for second year. |

| Oehlke Family Foundation of the St. Paul Foundation Nursing Scholarship Awarded to incoming or returning students enrolled in the RCTC Associate Degree Nursing program who have a 3.5 or higher GPA and have financial need. |
| Otto Haling Scholarship Applicants must have completed one semester of the Auto Mechanics Program. Award based on financial need, GPA and participation in community or school activities. |
| Paul and Kim (Hoffmann) Novotny Scholarship Awarded to an incoming freshman from Chatfield High School with a 3.0 GPA or higher. Applicant must have participated in school activities during high school. |
| People's Cooperative Services Association Scholarship Awarded to an incoming or returning student who, individually or whose family, is a customer of Peoples Cooperative Services. Preference given to student majoring in agriculture or related field and planning to continue at a four-year college or university. |
| Peterson/Steffen Scholarship Awarded to an incoming student majoring in accounting. The recipient will demonstrate academic competence, integrity and participated in extra-curricular activities or community involvement. This award is renewable, based on successful completion of the student's first year. |
| Presidential Scholarship Presidential Scholarships are awarded to Minnesota residents with a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.9 and/or class rank in the top five percent (5%) of their graduating class. Preference is given to students demonstrating leadership and community involvement. Work-study faculty mentorships are required for second semester and during the second year. Achieving a 3.3 GPA while attending RCTC is required for continued funding. Application Deadline: Presidential scholarships are awarded on a first-come, first serve basis. | Ray Mikesh Distinguished Theatre Scholarship Awarded to a student graduating from RCTC who is pursuing a four-year degree that will enable a professional career in the theater or theater education. The student must have distinguished him or herself in RCTC theater productions (majority) and/or additional theatre productions in such areas as assistant director, actor, scenery designer or costumer. The recipient must have been and plans to be a full time student with a minimum graduating grade point average of 3.0. |
| RCTC Foundation Scholarship Awarded to an incoming student with a 3.0 GPA. or better. Available to students pursuing study in the liberal arts or science field. |
| RCTC Foundation Technical Scholarship Awarded to incoming students training in technical programs. Eligibility is based on financial need, academic standing (2.0+ GPA.), and personal/career goals. |
| RCTC Nursing Forum Scholarship The recipients of the Nursing Forum Scholarships will be a student pursuing a Practical Nursing Degree or Associate degree in nursing. The student should possess a 2.5 GPA. and be currently enrolled in the respective program. A 250-300 word essay on their involvement in community service within the past two years and how it relates to his/her professional nursing growth. A verification reference contact is required with the application. The student should be enrolled full-time with pro-ration of the scholarship for part-time students. |
| RE/MAX Underwriting a Dream Scholarship Financial need must exist and be verifiable. Student must be a U.S. citizen with roots in SE Minnesota and a full time student. Two letters of recommendation required with application. This scholarship is renewable. |
| Regional Endowment Scholarship Awarded to students whose high school participated in the regional endowment post-secondary education option program. A list of applicable schools is available in the UCR Counseling Department or RCTC Foundation Office - Heintz Center, Room HC109. |

| Rochester Masonic Lodge Scholarship Awarded to one incoming student with preference given to a non-traditional student in Nursing or Associate in Science Degree program with a family tie to the Masonic Lodge. |
| Rochester Women's Softball Association Scholarship Awarded to incoming freshman whose high school GPA is 3.0 or higher. The recipients must have participated in high school softball for two or more years and plan to continue involvement in student activities while attending RCTC. |
| Ronni Eppen Memorial Scholarship The recipient will be an incoming student to RCTC pursuing a two-year degree in one of the technical trade programs. |
| Samoen Sam Memorial Scholarship Awarded to a Rochester Off-Campus student who will attend Rochester Community & Technical College. |
| Steve Bakke Memorial Scholarship Awarded to an incoming or returning student attending RCTC who is pursuing a career in computer science and/or engineering. The student must be a graduate of a Minnesota high school with a demonstrated mathematical academic background or interest, demonstrated financial need and a 3.0 grade point average. |
| Steve Engelbert Memorial Scholarship Awarded to a high school graduate with a 2.5 GPA. or better. Student must be from Olmsted, Wabasha, Goodhue, Dodge, Mower, Fillmore or Winona County. Preference given to student with financial need. |
| Tim Muellner Memorial Scholarship Awarded to an incoming freshman from Olmsted or Fillmore County or the north central counties of Todd and Stearns. The recipient will have been actively involved in school activities during high school and intends to be involved at RCTC. Preference will be given to students with financial need. |
| Upward Bound/TRIO Scholarship Awarded to a senior participant in the Upward Bound/TRIO Program, who has been an active participant, including volunteering and leadership activities, and has a cumulative 2.5 GPA. An essay (350 word minimum) is required: "What did Upward Bound/TRIO mean to me" |
| Vicki, Kent, Todd Brunner Scholarship Awarded to a student, incoming or returning, from Southeastern Minnesota who was involved in high school activities such as athletics, band, choir, and theatre. Recipient must carry a minimum 12 credits and major in business or computer science, allied health, nursing, or pre-medicine. |
| Walter Swenberg Memorial Scholarship Eligible student will be enrolled in the Pre-Mechanical Engineering or the Engineering Technical program. Students must qualify for financial aid. If the recipient's complete their first year of study and maintain above average academic standing, they will be eligible for a second year of funding: a new application must be submitted to be reconsidered. |
