Scholarship Process

• Students must have applied and been accepted for admission to RCTC, PRIOR to submitting a scholarships application.
• Incoming students must include an official high school transcript with the application along with a signature from a school guidance counselor.
• Non-traditional students should provide high school transcript if possible. Lack of any grade history may hinder review of application.
• Please send any required transcripts or letters of recommendations to:

    (Or drop off at RCTC Heintz Center room: HC 109)
  • Materials mailed (or dropped off) should include applicant's name and Student ID, and must meet the deadline.
• RCTC Foundation Scholarship Committee will review and award scholarships.
• Students receiving awards will be notified by April 14, 2009.
• Scholarship awards must be used for tuition and books, unless otherwise noted.
• Scholarship awards will be transferred to the RCTC Business Office after the 13th class day of the semester.
• For most scholarships, it is assumed the student will be full-time, which means carrying a minimum of 12 credits (Some exceptions do apply, however, most scholarships will be pro-rated for part-time status).
• Application must be complete or it will not be reviewed.

PLEASE NOTE: This is a rather lengthy form with multiple areas that ask for typed answers, including the possibility of essays. SUGGESTION: You may want to read through the questions and formulate, type and save your answers in another document at your leisure, then simply copy-and-paste into this form when you are ready to submit your application.

Students should submit only one application.  
Scholarship selections do not preclude you from being eligible for all appropriate scholarships.
