Student activities: The college's Student Life program provides opportunities to expand education beyond the traditional classroom. Housing: Since this is a commuter college, there is no dormitory housing on campus. An apartment complex on the college property does provide student housing.
Rochester Community and Technical College was founded in 1915 on a motion by Dr. Charles Mayo to the Rochester School Board.
