Computer Help Desk Procedures

 

 

Administrative

Emergency

  • Call 285-7243
  • Hours:  Monday through Thursday 7:30am - 9:30pm and Saturdays 8am - 4:30pm
  • You will then have an option to leave a message or send a page.
  • Situations - Computer does not connect to network, Computer does not turn on
  • Pages will be returned within 20 minutes.

Non-Emergency

Help us help you.

When you e-mail us regarding the problem with your system, please include as much information as possible.  Such as:

  • The program you were running when you received the error
  • What you were trying to get the program to do
  • The exact error message (write down the message and error #)
  • Did you have any other programs running at the same time?
  • Were you connected to the network?

Academic Labs

Emergency

  • Hours:   Monday-Thursday 8:00 am - 9:00 pm
  • Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
  • Academic Computer Lab Help Desk (AT201)Staffed by student workers

Non-Emergency

Academic Data Requests

  • Requests to have data placed on the network must be received 1 week prior to the date needed.  A copy of the file(s) must be given to Computer Services at the time of the request.
