Faculty Evaluation
All faculty are evaluated at RCTC. The process is established by a committee of faculty and administrators.
The current process can be found at this location:
- Go to the J drive under "My Computer" on your computer (aka "Proj on 'Csdata\Admdata' (J:)")
- Click on FORMS.
- Click on HR (for Human Resources)
- Click on FACULTYEVALUATIONPOLICY
For full-time faculty, the process consists of four elements:
- a class observation
- a syllabus review
- student evaluations
- a professional development plan
As an adjunct/part-timer, you can assume that your department coordinator will be in close contact with you, will review your syllabus, will observe your class, and that your class(es) will be evaluated by the students. The Professional Development Plan can also be completed if you wish.
