Watch it LIVE at: www.rctc.edu/graduation

Family and friends of the RCTC graduates and candidates are cordially invited and encouraged to attend the Commencement Ceremony!

General Seating
Tickets for family and friends are not required. Seating is available on a first-come basis. Plan to arrive before 5:30pm for optimal seating. Guests must remain seated throughout the ceremony and may not block the view of others to take pictures or videos.

Special Needs Seating
Tickets are not required for this section. However, we must limit seating to one additional person per special needs guest to allow for all special needs guests to have appropriate seating. For information about Special Needs seating, please inquire with event staff upon arrival at the Sports Center.

Guest Etiquette

  • plan to arrive early for the best seating
  • sit close to others so all guests may be seated
  • refrain from making unnecessary trips up and down the bleachers - the noise and disruption detracts from the ceremony and other guests' enjoyment
  • be sure all cell phones and pagers are turned to silent mode prior to the start of the processional. However, be sure your phone is on so you can tweet!

Parking
Guests may use any of the campus parking areas at no charge. Permits are not required.

Photographs
A professional photographer from Lifetouch will be taking pictures of each candidate as he/she is shaking hands with Interim President Helens. Portraits may be viewed online approximately 7-10 days after the ceremony. More information about the Lifetouch portraits. Guests are allowed to take personal photographs and to video tape as long as they do not block the view of other guests or interfere with the proceedings.

Flowers
The International Club students will be selling flowers as a fundraiser at Commencement this year. Be sure to celebrate your graduate's accomplishments with a small bouquet. You will find them in the Sports Center foyer just under the staircase.
