Non-Degree Seeking Admission
If you do not intend to seek a degree, diploma or certificate at RCTC you must still be admitted to the college prior to registering for courses. Generally, non-degree seeking students wish to enroll in only one or two college courses. As a non-degree seeking student, you are not eligible for financial aid.
Non-degree seeking students are not required to complete the new student assessment or attend a new student orientation. However, registration in many courses may require the student to demonstrate that they meet the defined course prerequisites (generally through submission of prior college transcripts and/or through completing the RCTC new student assessment test).
Non-degree seeking students register for courses after degree-seeking students have had an opportunity to register.
