Yellowjackets Take 2nd in the Nation!

The Yellowjackets are 2011 State Champions!!!!


The Yellow Jackets defeated SUNY Sullivan 95-90 in double overtime to earn a berth in the NJCAA DIII National Championship game tonight at 7:00 central time.

Congratulations to Head Coach Brian LaPlante, Assistant Coaches and the entire Yellowjacket Team as they represented our college very well in the NJCAA DIII National Tourney over the weekend.  Friday RCTC beat Rainy River 99-76, Saturday RCTC beat Northland 84-67 and Sunday they beat Anoka-Ramsey 74-70 in overtime.
 
RCTC men are 2011 State (MCAC) Champions, and will advance to the NJCAA National Tournament on March 10-12, 2011 in Loch Sheldrake, NY.
