Congratulations to the 2009 RCTC Women's Basketball Team and Head Coach Steve Hucke!
The RCTC 2009 Women’s Basketball Team was named Rochester Area Sports Team of the Year and Steve Hucke was name Rochester Area Sports Coach of the Year at the annual sports banquet held at the Mayo Civic Center. RCTC Women’s Basketball had an OUTSTANDING season in 2009 finishing 34-0 while claiming title to the NJCAA Division III Women’s National Basketball Tournament.

"As the Head Coach of the RCTC Women's Basketball Team, I would like to welcome you to our website and hope that you find the information that you are looking for" Head Coach Steve Hucke
RCTC is committed to excellence on the basketball court as well as in the classroom. It is our goal to provide you with an education that will help you better yourself in life and as a bonus give you an opportunity to continuing your basketball career and be a part of something special! We participate in the MCAC (Minnesota College Athletic Conference) which is considered one of the toughest NJCAA DIII Conferences in the country. We are members of the Southern Division which consists of: Riverland Community and Technical College (Austin), Ridgewater College, Minnesota State Community and Technical College (Fergus Falls), Minnesota West (Worthington), Anoka Ramsey Communty College (Coon Rapids) and Minneapolis Community and Technical College (Minneapolis) and the North Division consists of: Northland Community and Technical College (Thief River Falls), Itasca Community College (Grand Rapids), Mesabi Range Community and Technical College (Virginia), Vermillion Community College (Ely), Hibbing Community College (Hibbing), Rainy RiverCommunity College (Intenational Falls), and Central Lakes Community College (Brainerd).
The Yellowjacket Women's team has consistently been a major contender on the local, regional and national scene for many years. It is our goal to be that contender each and every year we take the court.
