“Plan to Work, Work to Win”

Yellowjacket Program at a Glance:

The Yellowjacket Strength & Conditioning Program incorporates a variety of lifts and methodologies throughout the year to maximize every individual athletes potential. Athletes will work to achieve their individual goals as well as team goals.

Our S&C program is broken down into three phases throughout the year, (pre-season, in-season, off-season) with rest periods built in for recovery. Our In-season works consists of maintaining a strength base and improve power. Off-season lifting will incorporate and concentrate more on maximal lifting, speed, agility and dynamic flexibility. We believe core exercises should be at the epicenter of our program, just as the core supports the body, core exercises strengthening the abdominals as well as the back are extremely important to what we accomplish.

Athletes who participate in our S&C program will have an opportunity to increase Power, Strength, Speed, Agility, Balance, Flexibility and Coordination. Athletes will be tested on their explosivity, lateral/linear movements, vertical jump, strength and power using the following tests; hang clean, squat, bench press, vertical jump, broad jump, Pro Agility, 3LCD and the 40x.

“The ability to succeed lies in your own desire, dedication, discipline, and commitment to achieving your personal goals as well as the goals of our TEAM”.
