RCTC WOMEN'S SOCCER WINS 4th place at National Tournament
RCTC went to the National Tournament for the third time in four years. This year they won fourth place. In the first round they beat College of Dupage to advance to the Final Four. In the secound round they played Montgomery-Rockville and lost 2-1. Montgomery-Rockville eventually went on to win the National title. The Yellow Jackets had a successful year ending with a 17-6 record.

In thirteen years under the guidance of Coaches Deb Hare and Katie Sayler, the team has amassed a very impressive list of achievements. Rochester soccer have won eleven Region XII Championships, and placed among the top 8 in 2 of the NJCAA National Tournaments in which they have participated.
Additionally, Rochester soccer has earned NJCAA and NSCAA Academic All American Team for the the last two seasons.
The soccer team has produced 15 NJCAA All-American players, 3 named to the All Tournament team for the National Tournament and 73 All Region Players.
Coach Deb Hare Deb Hare started the women's soccer program in 1998, Since then they have posted a 104-37-22 record. The team has won the Region XIII Championship every season but one. They have been ranked in the top ten National every year since 2002. The soccer program has produced numerous All Americans. It has also given players the opportunity to go on to four year universities to continue their career. |
