Carolyn Bell is in her first season as RCTC's head volleyball coach, but has 10 years coaching experience from the beginner to the elite level. Prior to coming to RCTC to coach, Carolyn had coached the Southern Minnesota Volleyball junior olympic volleyball elite program for seven years and served as the club's coaching director for three years. Carolyn also played four years of college volleyball in New York where she earned most valuable player and was named to the NCAA All-Star Team in 1995. Carolyn earned a Masters degree in counseling psychology from the State University of New York at Brockport and a Masters degree in exercise and sport science with an emphasis in sport psychology and coaching from Ithaca College.
