Long-Term Goal for Campus Development

UCR will co-develop, with local government and other public and private partners, a model 21 St. century community / university campus which will serve as a dynamic hub of education, culture, recreation, and community life for our region.

Phase I: Renovate Space for Technology Center; Consolidate Student Services, Improve Campus Access, Construct Mayo Run and North/South Road; Build Regional Recreational Sports Center and Quadrangle Development; Co-Develop Soccer and Football Fields with City of Rochester

Phase 2: (Future) Enhance infrastructure; Predesign Committees for: Horticulture Center; S.E. Minnesota Regional Training Center; Health Science; Music, Education and Technology Center (Performing Arts)

Phase 3: (Long-range) Future campus development projects driven by academic need, enrollment growth and joint community/campus initiatives.
