Motorcycle Safety Center Rider Training

Please note: To receive a motorcycle endorsement through the BRC (Basic Rider Course), you must be 18 years or older and possess a valid Minnesota driver's license and motorcycle permit before taking the BRC.

If you are younger than 18 years old, you must complete the BRC and have a valid Minnesota driver's license before you can receive your permit or endorsement.

Have you always wanted to learn to ride a motorcycle? Well, you've found the right place. Our Basic Rider Course is designed for riders who have never operated a motorcycle, and we supply the bikes! We have an agreement with the State of Minnesota that allows us to test riders for their endorsements, so you can learn to ride and get your license - all in one place.

Years of experience can make you an expert rider, but do you know EVERYTHING you need to know to ride safely? Do you know what counter-steering is? Do you know how to control a skid? Do you understand the principles of risk management? What about traction management? Do you have a riding strategy? If you said "no" to any of these questions, the Intermediate Rider Course is EXACTLY what you're looking for - and need. Come and show us what you've got, and we'll show you how to use it!

To ride safely, moped riders need the same mental strategies a motorcyclist needs. This course is a benefit to anyone who wants to ride on two wheels.
