Motorcycle Safety Center Rider Training

Online Registration will be available starting February 1st.

Minnesota Motorcycle Safety Center Rider Training Course

Have you always wanted to learn to ride a motorcycle? Well, you've found the right place. Our Basic Rider Course is designed for riders who have never operated a motorcycle, and we supply the bikes! We have an agreement with the State of Minnesota that allows us to test riders for their endorsements, so you can learn to ride and get your license - all in one place.

Years of experience can make you an expert rider, but do you know EVERYTHING you need to know to ride safely? Do you know what counter-steering is? Do you know how to control a skid? Do you understand the principles of risk management? What about traction management? Do you have a riding strategy? If you said "no" to any of these questions, the Experienced Rider Course is EXACTLY what you're looking for - and need. Come and show us what you've got, and we'll show you how to use it!

To ride safely, moped riders need the same mental strategies a motorcyclist needs. This course is a benefit to anyone who wants to ride on two wheels.

NEW: Street Smarts Plus (6 Hours)
This is the Street Smarts Riding Workshop combined with a four-hour "refresher" course of selected riding exercises from the BRC. Training motorcycles are provided. This course is ideal for endorsed riders who want to take a course but are not yet ready for the ERC Skills Plus, returning riders, and newer riders who have completed the BRC and want additional coaching and practice time. Participants must have a motorcycle endorsement and previously completed the BRC.

- NOTE: You will need the FREE Adobe Acrobat Reader software to access the motorcyle course schedule and registration form. You can download and install Acrobat Reader from Adobe's web site by clicking on the Adobe Reader icon.

Enrollment is limited and classes fill up fast, so register early.
