Road Scholar

The comfortable, climate-controlled walking skyways and subways connect your hotel to Mayo Clinic, restaurants, bookstores, and cultural centers. Located 80 miles southeast of Twin Cities. Participants may fly directly to Rochester or fly to Minneapolis Airport and use the convenient shuttle (www.rochesterdirect.com), at additional charge. Twin Cities residents may also use the shuttle service.

Accommodations: beautiful historic downtown hotel with private bath, pool, whirlpool, sauna and exercise room available. Handicap accessible. Walking tours up to one-half mile.

Rochester Community and Technical College offers 3-4 Road Scholars each year.  The main focus of these Road Scholars is What’s New in Medicine and The History of Mayo.  Commuter rates are available.
