Image of Person Pointing at SignRCTC offers a variety of learning opportunities for area older adults. Two such continuing education programs include Learning is Forever (LIFE) and Road Scholar.

The LIFE program, for older adults, includes educational opportunities in areas such as politics, cultural enlightenment, and environmental activities. LIFE’s mission is to provide humanities-based educational programs that are stimulating and encourage social and personal growth opportunities for older adults. We strive to accomplish this through a variety of courses including lectures, discussion groups, and other learning opportunities in a handicapped accessible setting. www.learningisforever.net

Road Scholar is an educational organization that provides short-term, non-credit, residential learning opportunities for people of any age. RCTC offers a minimum of two Road Scholar Programs per year in Rochester. www.roadscholar.org

Society's love of learning drives these programs and provides an environment for both intellectual and personal growth. The Continuing Education and Workforce Development Center welcomes partnerships with community groups and offers assistance in developing specific courses or programs that serve the diverse needs of the Rochester Community. For further information or suggestions, contact Chrisanne Pieper, Senior Program Director at 507-280-3157 or email her at chrisanne.pieper@roch.edu.
