Community Based Senior Programs
RCTC offers a variety of learning opportunities for area seniors. Two such continuing education programs include Learning is Forever (LIFE) and Elderhostel. The LIFE program, for individuals 55 years of age and older, includes educational opportunities in areas such as politics, cultural enlightenment and environmental activities. Elderhostel, Inc. is an educational organization that provides short-term, non-credit, residential learning opportunities for people 55 and over.
Society's love of learning drives these programs and provides an environment for both intellectual and personal growth. The Continuing Education and Workforce Development Center welcomes partnerships with community groups and offers assistance in developing specific courses or programs that serve the diverse needs of the Rochester Community.
