The Career Center

The Career Center for RCTC is located on the UCR Campus and is open without cost to students and non-students.  It features a variety of books, magazines, college catalogs, common transfer schools and other information that will help you to learn more about educational programs, career opportunities, transfer, and job search techniques.  Some publications may be checked out for a short time.Our Career Library includes:

• The Occupational Outlook Handbook
• Minnesota Career Information Service (MCIS)
• Peterson's Guides
• The College Blue Book Series
• Index of Majors
• Health Careers in Minnesota
• Technology Careers in Minnesota
• International Jobs and Careers
• And more...

Discover, MCIS, and SIGIplus are computer-aided career information systems that can be accessed from the Career Center.  They assist in the career decision-making process and provide a user-friendly source of up-to-date information to help students explore occupations, educational programs, and personal goals.  For a recommended initial orientation appointment, call 285-7260.Also visit our Career Information and Employment Page for links to internet employment and job seeking resources.

Location

The Career Center is located at the University Center Rochester in the Student Services Building, Room SS 133-143.

Hours

Career Center Hours are:  8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Mondays through Wednesdays and 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Thursdays and Fridays.
