Faculty Course Web Sites
NOTE: Faculty are now being encouraged to use Desire2Learn as the tool for creating online course content. Desire2Learn is a very robust environment for delivering course content and contains many features that would normally require much programming and development time. Contact Missy.Hagen@roch.edu for more information on Desire2Learn.
Faculty: If you would like your course to be displayed or removed from the list of courses on this page, please e-mail the RCTC web manager.
Course and Personal sites should:
- Be work related and contain work related information.
- Adhere to MnSCU acceptable use of technology policies.
- Contain information above and beyond the course description in the catalog.
- Contain date of last revision.
- Contain contact information of the author of the course or personal web site.
Additional guidelines for course and personal sites:
- Authors assume personal responsibility for their site adhering to MnSCU acceptable use of technology policies. If a course site is egregiously out of compliance, it will be removed indefinitely until compliance is agreed upon and achieved.
- Authors assume personal responsibility for their site being accurate, and current. If a course site is egregiously out of date, it will be removed indefinitely until compliance is agreed upon and achieved.
- All pages must be appropriately titled and clearly labeled with ownership information so that responses to those pages can be directed to the appropriate individuals.
