RCTC uses Direct Deposit as the primary means for disbursement of financial aid and student payroll checks. This option also allows students to print their own payroll advices (check stubs); W-2’s and other tax information through the RCTC Web Portal.
See our Direct Deposit Announcement for more details and/or review the frequently asked questions shown below.
If you have questions about the Direct Deposit initiative or need more information about obtaining your W-2 or 1098-T via the web portal, please contact Cheryl Morgan (Cheryl.Morgan@roch.edu) in the Financial Aid Office, or Mike O'Dea (Michael.ODea@roch.edu) in the Business Office.
How do I sign up for Direct Deposit or view my check stub (payroll advice)?
What if I'm already setup for Direct Deposit?
Your banking information will be transferred to the new, secure, Direct Deposit section of your Web Portal on November 1, 2011. You should log into your web portal account and review your information to ensure the transfer occurred correctly.
Am I required to use Direct Deposit?
Although it is strongly encouraged, students are not required to setup Direct Deposit at RCTC. Students will still have the option to receive their student paycheck, refund or financial aid disbursement by paper check.
Will I need to setup a new password?
Maybe. If your current e-Services (web portal) password does not meet the ‘strong password’ standards listed below, you will prompted to change your password the first time you log in after November 1, 2011.
‘Strong password' criteria:
• The password must be at least six characters long.
• The password must contain characters from three of the following four categories:
• English uppercase characters (A - Z)
• English lowercase characters (a - z)
• Base 10 digits (0 - 9)
• Non-alphanumeric (For example: !, $, #, or %)
• The password cannot contain three or more characters from the user's account name.
If you have any questions about setting your password, please contact the Technology Support Center (TSC). E-mail: tech.help@rctc.edu
