Progress requirements for
Financial Aid students
Students receiving Financial Aid at Rochester Community and Technical College must be making progress toward their degree. Following each term, a student's academic progress will be reviewed. Students must meet GPA and completion rate/timeframe requirements of the policy. Students not making progress toward their degree may be allowed to continue receiving financial aid under a warning status. Students that have two or more occurrences of not making progress will be placed on a Financial Aid Suspension and become ineligible for all types of financial aid. Students with prior degrees or credits beyond those needed for their RCTC program may also be placed on Financial Aid Suspension.
All students applying for financial aid will be provided with a copy of Rochester Community and Technical College's Satisfactory Academic Progress Policy. Additional copies are available by clicking the link above or may be obtained by contacting the Department of Financial Aid at (507) 285-7271.
