Entering Freshmen Foundation Scholarship Application

Rochester Community and Technical College Foundation believes strongly in providing educational opportunities for students. As part of this commitment, the Foundation provides a number of scholarships each year. Recipients are chosen on the basis of academic achievement, character, school/community involvement, and in some cases, need and/or specific scholarship guidelines.

Scholarship Process:

Students must apply for admission to Rochester Community & Technical College
Incoming students must include an official high school transcript with the application along with a signature from a school guidance counselor
Non-traditional students should provide high school transcript if possible. Lack of any grade history will hinder review of application
RCTC Foundation Scholarship Committee will review and award scholarships
Students who RECEIVE awards will be notified
Scholarship awards must be used for tuition and books, unless otherwise noted
Scholarship awards will be transferred to the RCTC Business Office after the 13 th class day of the semester
For most scholarships, it is assumed the student will be full-time, which means carrying a minimum of 12 credits (Some exceptions do apply)
Applicants must sign the release on the back of this application
Application must be complete or it WILL NOT be reviewed

March 15, 2008 for Incoming (Freshman) Fall of 2008
