Entering Freshmen Foundation
Scholarship Application
Rochester Community and Technical College Foundation believes strongly
in providing educational opportunities for students. As part of this
commitment, the Foundation provides a number of scholarships each year.
Recipients are chosen on the basis of academic achievement, character,
school/community involvement, and in some cases, need and/or specific
scholarship guidelines.
Scholarship Process:
- Students must apply for admission to Rochester Community & Technical College
- Incoming students must include an official high school transcript with the application along with a signature from a school guidance counselor
- Non-traditional students should provide high school transcript if possible. Lack of any grade history will hinder review of application
- RCTC Foundation Scholarship Committee will review and award scholarships
- Students who RECEIVE awards will be notified
- Scholarship awards must be used for tuition and books, unless otherwise noted
- Scholarship awards will be transferred to the RCTC Business Office after the 13 th class day of the semester
- For most scholarships, it is assumed the student will be full-time, which means carrying a minimum of 12 credits (Some exceptions do apply)
- Applicants must sign the release on the back of this application
- Application must be complete or it WILL NOT be reviewed
Application Deadline:
March 15, 2008 for Incoming (Freshman) Fall
of 2008
