Get READY for Homecoming 2009.
Plan to participate and enjoy all the campus sponsored events.

• Thursday, September 24th
  The fun starts on Thursday with a Pep Fest at 10:30am in the Atrium.  There will be prizes for best show of spirit, FREE popcorn, candy and other fun stuff.  There will also be opportunities to participate in various contests.
  
• Friday, September 25th
  The spirit continues on Friday with a Table Tennis Tournament at 10:00am with fun prizes.  Plan to participate in a Frisbee Golf Tournament from 3:00pm-6:00pm with more fun prizes. Cheer on the Yellowjacket Volleyball team vs. MN West in the UCR Sports Center.  There will be volleyball skill challenges for youth between sets. FREE admission for high school and youth sports teams who wear their uniform.
  
• Saturday, September 26
  The excitement resumes on Saturday with ALUMNI Baseball and Alumni Softball games at 10:00am. An “Alumni Registration” tent for alumni will be on hand outside of the UCR Regional Sports Center beginning at 11:30am.  Alumni will have the opportunity to register for College updates as well as receive a “GAME PASS” for all homecoming games that day.

At noon, head into the Sports Center to cheer on the Yellowjacket Volleyball team as they challenge MSCTC-Fergus Falls.  The Yellowjacket Volleyball team will be sponsoring a “Dig for Pink” match where players will wear pink uniforms with pink socks and donors will pledge a specified amount for each dig during one of the matches.  The donations will go toward local breast cancer research from the RCTC Yellowjackets.  A Youth Volleyball Skills Clinic will also be held after the match in the UCR Regional Sports Center where the Yellowjacket Volleyball players will teach and lead youth players on skill development drills and activities.

Root for the Yellowjacket Soccer team as they take on Anoka Ramsey at 1:00pm at the Rochester Regional Stadium.  Take this opportunity to display your “Best Show of Spirit” for the Yellowjackets.

Then at 4:00pm join the RCTC Athletic Department as they sponsor a Homecoming Hog Roast and Raffle at the Eagles Club (See raffle prizes below).  The Hog Roast will be at 4:00pm to 8:00pm, with the Ten Cent Biscuit Band from 8:00pm to midnight.  Raffle drawings will begin at 10:00pm.

Come on back to the Rochester Regional Stadium for Yellowjacket Football team as they battle it out with the Central Lakes Raiders.  The half-time show will include an exhibition from a local high school cheerleading team.  After the game, join us as we honor our military with a short program.

FREE admission to all Homecoming athletic games for high school and youth sports teams who wear their uniform.
