ADJUNCT/TEMPORARY PART-TIME Faculty Positions:
RCTC is currently looking for adjuncts in the following disciplines for Fall 2017 and/or Spring 2018 Semester:
Nursing: Adjunct faculty positions available for Clinical AD Nursing courses for fall 2017 and/or spring 2018 . Minimum Qualifications (Nursing, Clinical AD Courses): Bachelor degree in nursing; four full-time (or equivalent) years of verified related paid work experience as a registered nurse; one year of this work experience shall be within the five years immediately preceding the date of application for the credential field (recency requirement shall be waived if the individual has two years of successful full-time or equivalent postsecondary teaching experience in the credential field within the last five years; and current Minnesota Registered Nurse (RN) license. Teaching experience preferred. Preferred cardiology experience for a day clinical and preferred pediatrics experience for an evening clinical. Head Softball Coach for RCTC Yellowjackets. This position is a seven credit activity assignment with the potential for additional assignments. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, planning, budgeting, organizing, recruiting, fund-raising, student retention, NJCAA competition and promotional visibility of the organization. Required qualifications area Bachelor’s Degree (preferred Master’s in Physical Education) and at least 2 years softball coaching experience (with one year softball collegiate level experience preferred). Assistant Women's Basketball Coach for theRCTC Yellowjackets: This is a 4 credit position that is responsible for assisting the Head Women's Basketball Coach with coaching responsibilities and duties. Included responsibilities: Assist with practice planning and scheduling, recruiting student-athletes, assist in fund-raising activities, demonstrate ability to motivate the team and individual players. The assistant coach will also assist with game day activities, scouting of opponents, and implementing game strategy.Bachelor’s degree is required (Master’s preferred). Previous collegiate or high school experience is preferred for this position.
