College Relations

The RCTC College Relations and Effectiveness Office assists RCTC staff and academic programs with a wide variety of services including public/media relations, market research, program marketing, publication development, event planning and a host of other marketing-related functions. Additionally, the office publishes a weekly internal newsletter called College Crossings. I have been fortunate to be a part of the RCTC campus community since 1984 (including being a graduate of RCC). I design and assist in the planning and management of the college brand and all marketing materials for the College. I am also the contact for the weekly campus newsletter, College Crossings

I am responsible for college-wide advertising (radio, TV, newspapers, etc.). In addition, I work with the members of our marketing team to create various publications (viewbook, program brochures, etc.) I also assist instructors in promoting their programs to prospective students.

I work with the social media platforms that RCTC is a part of, as well as research new and upcoming platforms. I also write a little bit, take photos when needed, work with some of the web site and do some design as needed. I also update the RCTC newsblog, The Daily Buzz.
