HEALTH AND PHYSICAL EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
(RCTC Policy 3.3.4)
Part 1. Purpose: Students may gain
exposure to involvement in lifetime activities through individual
learning experiences and activities in the form of classes and team
sports offered by the Health and Physical Education departments to
meet graduation requirements.
Part 2. Policy: Students at Rochester Community and
Technical College may meet the Health and Physical Education requirements
in Associate of Arts and Associate of Science programs by completing
any combination of Health courses (HLTH 1102, 1110, 1111, 1114, 1132,
1135, or 2126) and/or Physical Education courses (PHED 1100-1199).
One credit may be from Varsity Athletics (PHED 1210-1236; PHED 2210-2236).
