SAFETY AND SECURITY POLICY
(RCTC Policy 6.4.3)

Part 1. Security and Escort Service Policy: It is the policy of the University Center Rochester to provide students, faculty, staff and visitors with a safe environment to the greatest extent possible. To this end, Security and Escort Service Guidelines were established and are continuous throughout the academic year with modifications during breaks and summer sessions.

Part 2. Right to Know Policy: The College has adopted Right to Know Guidelines which are consistent with state and federal regulations to provide training and a safe environment for students, faculty and staff.

Part 3. Weather or Other Emergencies Closing Policy: It is the policy of the College to follow the Guidelines for Closing of the University Center Rochester or Cancellation of Classes or Activities when it becomes necessary to close the College or cancel academic or non-academic activities due to inclement weather or other emergency conditions.
