What type of career can I expect?

Graduates of this program are ready for front-line supervisory and management positions in any industry.

Many graduates go on to complete their bachelor’s degree at one of the many institutions that have articulation agreements with RCTC.  For additional information on the most current list of RCTC program articulations, see us at:  http://www.rctc.edu/catalog/articulations/index.html.

Do I need to be working in a supervisory or management role in order to apply?

No, everyone is welcome to participate in this program.  It is designed for either those wanting a career in supervision or those currently in a supervisory role.

Originally, the program was designed for working adults in a cohort model.  However, we recognized a need in our community to offer the program to everyone, with the flexibility to take courses when it made sense for the participant.  Therefore, this option was developed.

Can I take one a supervisory management course as an elective for another program?

Absolutely!  There are a number of courses that fit beautifully with other degree programs such as accounting, business, or retail management.  Even if you are not in a business program, you may enroll in one of the classes.  The skills learned in these courses apply to all areas.

If you want to learn more about the Supervisory Management program, please contact Catherine Davis at catherine.davis@roch.edu.
