Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) Technology Program
How do I choose which program to enter?

Our program is Mechanical Drafting using CAD.  The CAD Technology major is designed to prepare students for a technical career using Computer Aided Drafting tools and techniques. CAD drafters turn concepts, ideas, and rough sketches into mechanical prints, then “prototypes” or finished parts can be fabricated. The CAD courses are taught in state-of-the-art facilities featuring the latest releases of AutoCAD and SolidWorks. Employment opportunities are excellent.

CAD Diploma
The core content of the diploma program is “hands on” drafting & design using CAD. There are 10 Credits of General Studies/Education Requirements.

CAD AAS
The core content of the AAS program is “hands on” drafting & design using CAD much like the diploma program. There are 20 Credits of General Studies/Education Requirements.

Mechanical Technology
This program has been designed to prepare graduates to transfer to a four-year College or University and complete a Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial or Engineering Technology.
