Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) Program
Program Plans

Our program is Mechanical Drafting using CAD.  The CAD Technology major is designed to prepare students for a technical career using Computer Aided Drafting tools and techniques. CAD drafters turn concepts, ideas, and rough sketches into mechanical prints, then “prototypes” or finished parts can be fabricated. The CAD courses are taught in state-of-the-art facilities featuring the latest release of SolidWorks. Employment opportunities are excellent.

CAD Diploma
The core content of the diploma program is “hands on” drafting & design using CAD. There are 10 Credits of General Studies/Education Requirements.

CAD AAS
The core content of the AAS program is “hands on” drafting & design using CAD much like the diploma program. There are 16 Credits of General Studies/Education Requirements.
