Career Opportunities

Career opportunities for neurodiagnostic technologists are excellent. Graduates are employed in hospitals, clinics, physician’s offices, epilepsy monitoring units, sleep disorder centers, research institutions and the medical instrument industry.

Median annual starting salary for a full-time technologist is $46,000. Salary is dependent upon location and employer.

Board Pass rates/Empolyment Statistics

On average, 90 percent of Clinical Neurophysiology Technology Program graduates have passed the EEG Part 1 board exam on their first attempt and approximately 90 percent have found full-time positions within their field of training. Currently in the United States, there are more employment opportunities than graduates of neurodiagnostic programs.
