Requirements
IMPORTANT NOTE:
Thank you for your interest in the Dental Assistant Program at RCTC. Dental Assistant applications are accepted beginning September 1st each year until the program is filled.
Admission is based on the date that all supporting documentation is received in the Admissions and Records Office.
PRE-ADMISSION CRITERIA:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Earned a "C" letter grade or better in high school Biology (full year) or college (one semster) Biology (BIOL 1101 or its transfer equivalent).
- Apply to RCTC and indicate Dental Assisting as a major.
- Demonstrated college level reading and writing skills.

READ CAREFULLY:
All applicants must have earned a high school diploma or GED and have completed Biology with a grade of “C” or better at the high school (full year) or college level (one semester) prior to admission to the Dental Assistant program. Furthermore, RCTC requires that applicants have college level reading and writing skills.
