Minnesota Health Information Management Association (MHIMA) is sponsoring a scholarship program for Minnesota residents enrolled in an in-state or out-of-state program or out-of-state students attending a Minnesota school. Winning essays will be announced in April, published in the MHIMA Uplink, and the scholarships awarded at MHIMA’s annual meeting in May. Past awards have ranged from $500 to $1,000. Guidelines, application, and validation/verification forms are available on the MHIMA websites http://www.mnhima.org under Careers/Colleges or more specifically, (http://mnhima.org/careers/mhimascholarship.html). We have had graduates receive scholarship awards in the past from MHIMA, so please take advantage of this wonderful opportunity.
