Trees of RCTC

Introduction

There are a large number and variety of interesting trees on the Rochester Community and Technical College campus. With the addition of the horticulture program and the S.M.A.R.T. Gardens at Heintz Center, even more unique plants and trees are available for viewing.

Trees that are included in this site were chosen because of the potential interest for the reader who may pass by a particular tree or planting, wonder what it is, but continue on without inquiring further. The included trees have information relating to unique features (leaves, blooms, fruit, bark, etc.), a history of the species, or how the tree came to be at RCTC.
