HUMAN SERVICE PROGRAMS OF STUDY:

Students interested in human services careers may choose from the following programs of study:

• Mental Health Assistant Certificate
• Chemical Health Assistant Certificate
• Developmental Disabilities Assistant Certificate
• Human Services Technician Diploma
• Human Services Specialist - Associate of Science Degree

The certificate, diploma and degree options provide students with opportunities for furthering their education and thereby enhancing career advancement in areas of employment.

Students may enroll in the Human Services careers programs in Fall or Spring semesters.  Students starting in Fall on a full-time basis can complete the diploma program in 2 semesters.  A certificate option can usually be completed in one semester.   The Associate of Science Degree  will take 4 semesters to complete with a full-time course load.
