Overview
The Radiography Program combines education at RCTC and Mayo School of Health Sciences (MSHS). It is a 24-month educational program, which includes 57 academic credits and 34 clinical credits. Classes begin each Fall Semester.
Following appointment to the program by MSHS, students are enrolled in basic science and general education courses at RCTC for two semesters (9 months). The remaining 15 months include extensive clinical training at the Mayo campus. Courses must be taken in sequence.
Graduates are awarded a Certificate of Completion from Mayo School of Health Sciences and an Associate of Science degree from RCTC. Graduates are then eligible to take the certification examination administered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
