Welcome

Hello from Paula,

I am so pleased to announce that our New Supervisory Management A.A.S. Program designed for working adults and delivered in an accelerated customized cohort model is going AWESOME!

As program coordinator of Rochester Community and Technical College's Supervisory Management Program, I continue to be excited about providing a quality program designed specifically for working adults, being delivered in an accelerated- web enhanced adult cohort model.

You may have already heard about the Supervisory Management Program being offered for working adults in the accelerated/cohort model. HELP SPREAD THE NEWS that we are currently taking applications for the next cohort and will be interviewing and selecting participants. In selecting participants for each cohort we consider a mixture of companies, industry representation and a balance to ensure the majority of participants have previous team lead, supervisory, or management experience. Cohort size will be 16-20 maximum.

So what do I mean by "adult cohort model"? A selected group of adult learners with work experience come together weekly and complete a series of credit based college courses as a learning community. What do I mean by "accelerated"? It is the methodology of delivering the course objectives by means of various learning activities, including interaction, real-life applications, drawing on previous personal and professional related experiences and action-plans which link directly back to current jobs.

Based on the program's continued success and a very high level of interest, we are ramping up to start the next cohort very soon.

Would you please share the information with your employees and co-workers. Let me know if anyone is interested in applying from your organization.

Below are links to some electronic files for your convenience. I welcome a direct phone call at 285-7221 or you may email me at: paula.theisen@roch.edu to discuss your interest and/or your organization's interest. If there is someone I should direct this information to in the future, I welcome the contact. Please share the information with your employees and let me know if you have anyone in mind to represent your organization in our next cohort. I recommend you let me know ASAP if you want me to hold a spot as we cap the cohorts at 20.
