Who do you think contributes the most...financially speaking...to
your college education? Your first response probably wasn’t the state
of Minnesota. Or was it? For every $1 you spend, the state of Minnesota kicks
in more. Not bad. Minnesota really invests in its residents.
RCTC invests big in our students too. The RCTC Foundation has annually awarded around 200 scholarships totalling over $200,000!
Financial Aid
Need more help paying for college? Apply for financial aid. RCTC awards in
excess of $12 million from a variety of financial aid programs
including
grants, scholarships, work study earnings, and student loans. More than 80%
of RCTC students are eligible for financial aid.
All students who wish to apply for financial aid must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The FAFSA can be filed in a paper format or via the internet using the FAFSA on the web. Applications are available after January 1. Applying before the first of May gives you the best chance at being considered for funds which are limited.
