RCTC/Metro State University Transfer Information and Credit for Prior Learning Session

Join representatives from Rochester Community and Technical College and Metropolitan State University to learn about credit for prior learning and transfer opportunities. Program areas of interest include administrative assistant, medical secretary, health sciences, individualized studies, early childhood, and business fields.

What type of students should come to the workshop?

  • Students interested in earning college credit for learning from their life experiences.
  • Students who have earned an associate’s degree and interested in continuing their education at Metropolitan State.
  • Students interested in earning a 4-year degree through Metropolitan State University.

Registration Date for fall classes at Metropolitan State University is June 15, 2015.

Attendees only need to attend one of the session times listed above and are encouraged to bring their DARS report or unofficial transcript. There will be a brief introduction of Credit for Prior Learning and 4-year transfer opportunities with 15-minute advising sessions available to answer your specific questions.
