The Art Club serves as an official organization for students interested in art history and the studio arts. The club will manage and host visiting artists selected by members. The club will organize field trips to museums, art centers and artist's studios as interest dictates.
Major Projects of the Art Club
Art Club Representative: We need a student to join the Student Senate as an Art Club Representative in order to continue to be sanctioned and receive funding. This is a serious time and energy commitment on the part of the student.
Fine Arts Conference: The Art Club has been an integral part in the organization and dissemination of conference information
Empty Bowls: An event held each year at the Rochester Art Center each year that Robert Banker and the Ceramics Department (along with some volunteer and financial help from the Art Club) contribute significantly to. This is one very real way that our club is helping the community by fighting hunger.

Art Sale: Our biannual event to raise money to supplement the monies given to the Art Club by Student Life. We raise a couple of thousand dollars each year; primarily from ceramics. Sales are held at the end of each semester
Lectures and Workshops: This is a huge part of what we do. We invite artists to do workshops and slide talks and speak to some of our students about their work.
