Student Life Clubs and Organizations

 

Start a new club! Any group of students wishing to form a club for any purpose must secure a charter from the RCTC Student Senate. Clubs are a great way to share your interest and talents with other like-minded students and the whole college community! Call the Student Senate Office at 285-7207.

  • African Student Organization
  • The African Student Organization provides an academic and social support network for African students attending Rochester Community and Technical College (RCTC) andWinona State University- Rochester Center (WSU-RC). The organization focuses on providing academic support through peer tutoring and guest lecturers from the college community. The ASO will also promote the cultures ofAfrica on campus and in the community by sponsoring an annual lecture from a prominent African speaker.

  • Animal Health Technology
  • The purposes or objectives of the RCTC Animal Health Technology Students are: 1. to promote the professional and educational advancement of veterinary technicians, 2. to promote and maintain the professional image and high ethical standards of the veterinary technician. 3. to promote progressive and humane medical care for all creatures, 4. to promote and maintain a cooperative professional relationship with the veterinary medical profession, 5. to promote an interest in National Association of veterinary technicians, 6. to serve as a contact between members of NAVTA and the Animal Health Technology students, 7. to further the social and scientific advancement of R.A.H.T.S.
