Smartphone Support (Faculty and Students)


With the StarID conversion the student e-mail addresses changed as well. Your student e-mail address is now <First Name>.<Last Name><Numbers in StarID>@mb.rctc.edu . E-Mail sent to your old student e-mail address is forwarded to the new one.

Student settings for smartphones:

Please do the following to setup your student e-mail on your phone:

1. Delete existing student e-mail Exchange account (if it exists)
2. Add a new Exchange type e-mail account
3. Set the e-mail address to <First Name>.<Last Name><Numbers in StarID>@mb.rctc.edu
4. Set the password to your StarID password
5. If it asks for a server it's "m.outlook.com"
6. If it asks for a domain/username it's your e-mail address, <First Name>.<Last Name><Numbers in StarID>@mb.rctc.edu

 

FACULTY / STAFF settings for smartphones:

When given the option select "Microsoft Exchange" as the type of email for your roch.edu account.

1. Delete existing e-mail Exchange account (if it exists)
2. Add a new Exchange type e-mail account
3. Set the e-mail address to <First Name>.<Last Name>@rctc.edu
4. Set the password to your StarID password
5. If it asks for a server it's "outlook.office365.com"
6. If it asks for a domain/username it's your e-mail address, <First Name>.<Last Name>@rctc.edu
