"In my family, we are all trying to get by each day.  Education is a very important element to my family and they would love to see me graduate and go to a great college.  Upward Bound is helping me learn more about my capabilities and what I want to do with my life.  Everyone is very supportive and encouraging.  We visit colleges and learn more about the different types of colleges and careers.  They help us find scholarships and never stop believing in us."

-Brittany, John Marshall High School

"The most important thing in my life right now is education.  I am very interested in learning and discovering new things.  Upward Bound has helped me realize how important it really is to be educated.  They helped get me on track and stay on the road to success.  I would not have these kinds of opportunities without them.   I love being in this program."
