Registration Instructions

 

Course Registration:
Before you can register for any course at RCTC, you must first be admitted to the college. Registering for a course is akin to buying a service; you purchase the courses you want to take. Prior to registering for any course, we recommend you read about the deadlines for dropping a course and the related refund policy.

RCTC further recommends that you consult with your program advisor or counselor to determine which courses are most appropriate for you. The course offerings can be viewed in our catalog and Schedule of Classes.

How to Register:
You may register at the registration counter during regular business hours or via your online account and according to the registration windows. To do so online, follow these instructions:

  1. login to your online account
  2. Click on "Courses & Registration"
  3. Select "Find a Course" (If you know the six digit course ID number click "Quick Add (Register)"
  4. Select the Semester for which you want to register
  5. Select the subject from the drop down box
  6. Click "Find Courses"
  7. Once you find the course you would like click "Add to Cart"
  8. Click on "Course Cart" on the left hand side of the screen
  9. Put a check mark in the box next to the class you want to register for, and select "Register for checked courses".
  10. Enter your password (the same one you use to login to the Web Portal)
  11. Repeat steps 3-10 for each course
  12. Once you have completely registered, select "View/Modify Class Schedule" under the "Courses & Registration" Tab. Verify your schedule is correct.
  13. Print your schedule; you are now registered and obligated for payment and grading in these courses.
