Do I have to pay in full?
Yes, or have an approved deferment or an approved
FACTS payment plan.
What if I register after July 24, 2009?
Full payment is due at the time of registration. If you can not pay
in full, you must apply with "FACTS" for a payment plan or
qualify for a deferment to have your registration held.
What if I can’t pay until I get financial aid?
If RCTC has your financial aid application (FAFSA) on file, your registration
will be held. Your classes will NOT be dropped. You will have until
Friday, September 25, 2009 to complete your financial aid file, apply
for any loan(s) and have funds applied to your RCTC account for a zero
balance due to avoid a late/payment plan fee. Note: application fro financial aid is not a guarantee that you will received financial aid.
What if my plans change and I won't be attending RCTC? I have completed a Financial Aid application or have other approved deferments.
You received a financial aid deferment or other approved deferment, your classes will NOT be cancelled. It is your responsibility to cancel your registration.
How do I set up a payment plan? What is FACTS?

What if I pay in full and then drop courses or change my schedule?

Why was I dropped?
No deferment was received or "FACTS" payment plan on file.
What if I register once classes have started?
Students who register August 24, 2009 and after are required to pay
at the time of registration. You have made a conscious decision to register
after classes have started and will NOT be dropped.
Why was my account assessed an extra $80 charge?
An $80.00 late fee/payment plan fee is assessed to:
1) all students who have not paid in full by September 25, 2009 (exempt
FACTS payment plans)
2) any financial aid student who does not have a financial aid payment in full applied to their account by September 25, 2009 for a zero balance due.
Approved Deferments
- FACTS payment plan approved application on file.
- Financial aid application on file. Aid must be applied to student
account for a zero balance by September 25, 2009 to avoid an $80.00
late/fee payment plan fee. If you decide not to attend RCTC,it is your responsibility to cancel your classes. You have received a deferment and RCTC will NOT cancel your registration.
- Approved 3rd party vendor authorization on file (we bill someone
for total tuition and fees). Any balance not covered by the authorization
is due and payable in full by September 25, 2009 to avoid late fee/payment
plan fee.
- Outside scholarship funds deposited at RCTC in student’s name
over $300.00. To avoid a late fee/payment plan fee, balance must be
paid in full by September 25, 2009.
- Veteran’s awaiting their VA benefits. RCTC has information on file.
- International students coded with an F1 Visa will have until August 28, 2009 to pay in full or sign up for FACTS payment plan.
