Centennial Events

RCTC’s 100th birthday is coming up in less than a month, and there is a LOT happening in September to celebrate.

Join us as we celebrate our centennial year – the week of September 14 will be full of exciting events. September 14 is our actual birthday, so stop in the Atrium for a cupcake, and join us at 11 a.m. for a proclamation read by Rochester City Council President Randy Staver. We will unveil our updated History Wall shortly after.

On September 17 at 2:30 p.m., come on over to the Sports Center for a Founder’s Day program and see President McClellon get installed as the fourth president of RCTC. There will be a play, music, a couple speakers, and refreshments. Students who attend homecoming events will also be entered into a drawing for big prizes that?ll be drawn at Founder’s Day.

Top it all off on Saturday, September 19, by coming out to campus for a day of fun! Starting at 10 a.m. and going until 2 p.m., there will be games, giveaways, caricature artists, huge inflatables, food vendors, craft vendors, and more. A Classic Car show starts at 2 p.m. and will show through 5 p.m.The Homecoming football game tops it all off at 3 p.m.!
