Peterson & Foster named Vball All Americans

Rochester Community and Technical College is proud to announce two Yellowjacket Volleyball players have been selected for the 2015 National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division III All-American team.

Sophomore Tori Peterson, is one of only 12 volleyball players in the nation to be selected as a NJCAA first team All-American for DIII. Peterson was previously named to the 2015 National Volleyball All-Tournament team. Peterson is a Harmony, MN, native who played for Fillmore Central.

RCTC’s Jessica Foster, is one of only six volleyball players in the nation selected as Honorable Mention for the NJCAA All-America team. The Brownsdale, MN, native was previously selected the Most Valuable Player at the 2015 NJCAA DIII Volleyball Championship Tournament. Foster is a returning sophomore and setter on RCTC’s 2015 National Volleyball Championship team.

The RCTC Yellowjackets finished their season 27-6 overall and won the first NJCAA Division III National Championship title in the history of RCTC Women’s Volleyball.
