I am proud to announce that the HLC Institutional Actions Council has reviewed our documents and awarded RCTC reaffirmation of accreditation!

Thank you to all faculty, staff, and students who worked on this effort preparing numerous reports and documents for the Comprehensive Site Visit that took place in April. It is because of this work, and the work all RCTC employees have done the last eight years that the College has received continued accreditation.

The Site Visit Team noted in their report the many positive initiatives we currently have in place and have accomplished during this accreditation cycle. The Team also noted the great work that has been done to create RCTC’s Institutional Assessment Plan. And, as accrediting bodies are placing additional focus on assessment at institutions across the country our continued efforts and progress on our assessment plan will be reviewed near the summer of 2019.

Thank you again to all employees and students who worked towards this outcome, and to everyone who makes RCTC the outstanding institution it is.

Mary Davenport
Interim President
Rochester Community and Technical College
